FLIRT = ?

Flirt: To make playfully romantic or sexual overtures.

That's wat dictionary.com says. But wat EXACTLY is flirt? There's isn't any standard to measure up to. Are u genuinely juz being extra friendly n nice? Or there's an ulterior motive lying beneath this sheep skin? I guess the true definition lies within oneself. Only U, URSELF noes wat u're doing. If u're attached and u flirt openly behind ur partner's back, wat does that make u? Perhaps tongues will wag, but i guess it doesn't really matter. We dun live on others' criticism and compliments. We live our own life.

Juz like wat is beauty? Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Tastes differs from one individual to the next. Juz because majority holds the same perspective doesn't mean they are RIGHT; doesn't mean they hold the true definition of wat they believe in. Beauty comes from within.. to me, beauty = charisma + personality + wit. A simple illustration - Simon Cowell doesn't exactly score in the LOOKS department. But his wits n cynism has captivated audience since AMI. I actually find him rather charming!! (lol)

Everything is abt looking at different perspective. Thinking with ur left brain or right. Why issit tt between 2 close frens of the opposite sex, the gals usually believe there can be genuine frenship, whereas the guy will feel that at some pt in time, special feelings will develop? Why issit that gals are born extra sensitive to emotions? Why issit that guys are more rational and can see the big pic? Unlike gals who only seem bothered by minute details?

It's all abt hormones. The progesterone, oestrogen and testosterone shit. Geez.. so does tt mean if i start taking testosterone pills, i'll start thinking like a guy? (not to mention look like one too) We're all so similiar yet so different.

We're perpetually living in a grey area. (no i dun mean the grey matter in the brain) Many a times, we find ourselves perching precariously on The Fence, caught in between wat we hold dear to heart. But the fence is narrow and frail, and eventually we'll fall. But to which side? Tt is the qns. But is tt the ans?
