So near, yet so far

Been drifting in and out of surrealism lately. Things aren't what they seem to be. I woke up one night only to realise my eyes were damp. Is this all a dream I can't seem to wake up from? The world revolves; Events passed; Paths crossed. But why is it that I'm there yet not experiencing? Bundles of thoughts all jumbled up.

"想得开。看得开"

Someone mentioned this to me. Out of the blue. Yet so appropriate. I was puzzled over the amusement on her face when she said it. =)

There's going to be an exclusive concert tomorrow. Only 20 invites were given out. And I'm going! Yay! We all seem pretty excited about doing the banners tomorrow. I already have an idea how to do mine. Hope it will be good enough to get a fist-punch from him! Haha. Well, I hope the star will be pleasantly surprised. He deserves it.

This song has been in my mind ever since tuesday. And it really hit a chord there. Everyone seemed kinda teary after that. I really ought to find that song...

I really ought to go to bed. Driving out 4hrs later.

The enjoyment of having control of your time - The whole family went to Marriot Cafe for lunch buffet. On a Thursday afternoon. How shiok is that?

1 Sept - Teacher's Day.
We re-lived our schooling days once more. GEN was running around the island clad in various uniforms competing in our very own Amazing Race. I didn't know if it was a good thing that we didn't hit the news the next day. (Free advert ya?) Haha. I was told I still have the typical JC look even after 5 freaking years! That's good news.

I actually bought donuts from Donut Factory @ Raffles City today. And it only took me 15min. So I guess 9pm is a good time? Shall arrive at a verdict tomorrow.

Amidst frustrations and confusions, it's always heartwarming to know that there are really nice people out there. It just takes a little time to uncover these gems beneath the rocks.
