I was given a surprise on Thursday de-briefing.
They gave me a little farewell gift & a handmade card.
How sweet. =)
Got something prepared for them when they go for work on monday.

Today seemed like an auspicious day to tie the knot.
My neighbour is getting married today. Feel excited for them.
Lance's friends are getting ROM today too. Helped buy a metro gift card. Looks nicer than vouchers right? I wouldn't have known abt the card if not for NETS.

Weary week. But i survived!
2 assignments due on monday. And none has been touched. Sheesh.
Gonna start on it now... but i feel like zzz.... (-_-)

Hmm.. maybe the Ben & Jerry icecream i juz bought can keep me awake. =)

Woo. It's my 2nd last day today. I can already feel the butterflies in my tummy.

Been longing to learn how to apply eyeliner. Believe or not, the first person whom i've seen applies it like a pro is... weisong.
Gawd. He's a freaking guy can? Argh.. should all females juz die??
Anw, managed to buy a decent eyeliner from Missha when i was out shopping for Ser's present with Jan. (oops!) Pretty decent investment for something juz for trial. Heh.
Asked my mummy daddy to be judges for my virgin application. Guess wat? They say it's nice! Wah.. so flattered. =) But dun dare to wear out on the streets. Duh right?

I never thought i'd be interested in sampan boat-styled shoes aka pumps. It took me quite awhile before i could learn to appreciate the beauty of it. Same goes with those cropped jackets.
Bah. I can never be a the frontline of fashion trends.
Saw this r-e-a-l-l-y nice pair of pumps with studs from U.R.S. Gosh it was soooo comfy. Vonlin & i were so tempted but the price definitely set us back - $66.90
*sigh* If only i was born rich.

What do you think of people who spends $30 on dead skin? Crazy right? That's what i thought so too.
I always wondered how girls can bear to spend $$ on pedi/manicure. It juz seem too extravagant.
And woe be one me. I think i'm ready to fork out some hard-earned cash on my toes. Friday is the day. Von & i are going bugis for some pedicure! Woot.. feeling kinda excited!! My twinkies must feel so honoured i'm gonna let it exprience some luxurious treatment. Keke.

Gawd. What's happening to me?!?? No wonder is easy to gain market shares if you target at girls. And i always find this so very true:
"Guys will spend $2 for a $1 thing which they need. But girls will spend $1 on a $2 thing which they don't need".

Surprise visit from Fern

Fern came back to hand in timesheets.
And it was sooOoo nice of her to treat us honey ice-blended bubble tea & curry puffs! =)

Sigh.. gonna be missing that ger!! Who would have guessed she's a mother in her early 30s.
Gosh. And i thought we're almost in the same age grp.

And i juz received some shocking news.
Alot of shuffling in the call centre.

I have no idea how to react.
A part of me seemed to have grown attached to this ridiculous job environment.

An old friend

21 Oct 2005 marks my first experience of a 21st bday celebrated at MacDonald's.

Swakoo right? But never in my life have i held bday parties at fast food joints. In fact, i've never thrown bday parties till my 21st bday. So well.. 21st marks a whole lot of new experiences eh?

After bouts of kiddy games, which is also probably the last time we're all gonna be playing, it's time to make my way home. *yawn*

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SER!!

Now i know where is WCP Mac! LOLZ~ Ser definitely has very fun friends from her sports camp. Heh.

While half-dozing off in the long train ride home, i THINK i saw my primary school friend.
The oddball in class who loves to draw dragonball; The one who drooled on his math test paper while we're all feverishly completing the paper; The guy who walks as if he has crooked legs.

Now, 10 yrs later.
With the unmistakable tan & spikey hair (and crooked legs).
He's with a group of friends. Seemed as if they're juz off from work. With unkempt shirt & mp3 dangling from his neck. He looks juz like the slacker he was 10yrs ago.
I couldn't help but sneak peeks at him.
Was he? Or was he not?
And his identity seemed to be confirmed when he alighted the train at Bedok.
He lived in Chai Chee. Gee.. dun ask me how i noe. O_o;;

Jun Gang.
Yes. I still rem his name. 1 thing is for sure. He is definitely more good-looking now. LOL!!

The Little Surprises In Life

The little surprises in life.
Those silly little things that we do for each other.

U came down with a can of assorted cookies.
In the middle of the night.
Cos U knew i would be at home today; cos U knew there's nth at home for me to eat;
Cos U knew i would be too lazy to go out to buy food.

U chose ur favourites.
Cos U wanted to give me what U perceive as the best.
Among all, it had the pineapple ones that i love.

Certain small events in life
May not be anything significant;
May be something that we would have forgotten with time;
May become something that we eventually take for granted.

But it's these little happiness,
That makes each day in life so much more worthwhile living.

October's fun!

October has been kinda fun.
Perhaps it's cos there's so much parties to attend! (Not so friendly on the pockets though..)

Found a new place to chill out! Move over CAN cafe. It's Mondo cafe now! Muahaha.. the boss was sooo nice to let Fen have the place for her bday celebration.

It was so nice to lounge in the big comfy couch, chatting with Jan. Hee.. that ger ah. Wah.. bu kui is our LAO FA!! Really admire her determination! She's so thin now. How i wish i had her determination to diet. Bah. Anyhow, seeing her getting 1 step closer to her SIA dream, really feel very happy for her. =)

Speaking abt SIA. Why do pple keep asking me if i wanna be air stewardess? Today Mandy & Shinhui juz asked me. Haix. Making me luan only. I have my own considerations... so much factors to think abt. =/

Coming up is Ser's bday & Steph's bday. Woo.. still haven't settle present yet. Die la.

Recently, I've seemed to develop a sudden preference towards ba chor mee.

Not that i don't like ba chor mee in the first place. But i guess i've been too used to the ba chor mee @ 85.

Sadly, the standard seemed to be gravatating towards the centre of the earth.
It's no wonder I've condemed ALL ba chor mees.

But.. but...

I can't even explain why. And when. And how.

I've grew to enjoy it once again.
